Jason M. Hill has spent more than 20 years helping small and midsized organizations identify the root causes behind lost time, money, and momentum. As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he brings a practical, systems-focused approach to financial operations and business problem-solving. His background includes a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Management. Jason is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master. For nonprofit clients, that means support grounded in process improvement, accountability, and sustainable infrastructure. He focuses on helping organizations build cleaner workflows, stronger reporting habits, and financial systems that support mission execution rather than distract from it.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader and sociologist with extensive experience running nonprofit organizations and building the infrastructure they need to grow. Her background includes a BA from Tufts University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University with a concentration in Non-Profit Business Management, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY. She brings battle-tested expertise in process design, data-informed decision-making, capital raising, and organizational development. For nonprofit clients, Dr. Ali offers valuable perspective on how financial systems connect to mission delivery, leadership accountability, and long-term sustainability. Her work helps organizations create stronger internal processes so accounting support becomes a strategic asset rather than a back-office burden.

Chris Gibson has more than 15 years of experience helping clients understand their books and use financial information more effectively. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he is known for presenting practical, high-value solutions that improve workflows and help organizations get more from their bookkeeping systems. Chris earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and brings a detail-oriented, empowering style to client support. He is especially valued for teaching clients how to use QuickBooks and related processes with greater confidence. For nonprofits, Chris helps translate accounting tasks into clearer routines, better reporting habits, and more usable financial information. His approach supports teams that want not only accurate books, but also a stronger understanding of what their numbers are saying.
