As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he brings a practical, problem-solving approach to business tax preparation, bookkeeping strategy, and process improvement. His background includes a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College. Jason is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master. Clients value his ability to connect the numbers to real business decisions, whether they need cleaner books, better tax readiness, or stronger systems to support growth. His work is grounded in clarity, accountability, and customized support.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader with deep experience in organizational infrastructure, process design, and data-informed decision-making. Over the past two decades, she has led nonprofit organizations and helped businesses build stronger systems that support sustainable growth. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, she contributes strategic insight that strengthens how clients approach financial operations, reporting, and long-term planning. Dr. Ali earned her BA from Tufts University, an MPA from Columbia University, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY. Her perspective helps clients move beyond reactive bookkeeping and toward more intentional business management. She is especially valued for translating complex operational challenges into practical next steps that support healthier, more resilient organizations.

Chris Gibson has more than 15 years of experience helping clients improve bookkeeping workflows, understand QuickBooks more effectively, and build stronger financial habits. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he supports businesses with the detailed recordkeeping and reporting accuracy that make tax preparation smoother and more reliable. Chris is known for presenting practical solutions clients may not have considered on their own, especially when systems or processes are slowing them down. He earned his BFA from New York University and brings a thoughtful, empowering style to client education. Business owners appreciate his ability to explain bookkeeping clearly, improve functionality, and create processes that support cleaner books throughout the year.
