As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he brings a practical, systems-focused approach to bookkeeping and business operations, helping clients move from uncertainty to informed decision-making. His background combines strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving, making him especially valuable for businesses that need more than basic transaction entry. Jason holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Management. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master, credentials that reinforce his structured, process-driven approach to client service.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader and managing partner known for building strong organizational infrastructure and helping companies grow with intention. Her experience spans more than two decades leading non-profit organizations and advising businesses on process design, data use, capital strategy, and operational effectiveness. She brings a thoughtful, people-centered perspective to bookkeeping support, helping clients create systems that are both efficient and sustainable. Dr. Ali earned a BA from Tufts University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY. Her multidisciplinary background strengthens the firm's ability to support founders, small businesses, and mission-driven organizations with practical guidance beyond the numbers.

Chris Gibson has more than 15 years of experience helping clients improve bookkeeping workflows, understand their systems, and get more value from their financial tools. Known for an empowering teaching style, he helps business owners and teams build confidence in QuickBooks, reporting processes, and day-to-day bookkeeping operations. Chris often identifies practical improvements clients had not considered, making him a strong resource for businesses that want both accuracy and better functionality. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and brings a detail-oriented, creative perspective to operational problem solving.
