Jason M. Hill has spent more than 20 years helping small and midsized businesses identify the root causes behind stalled growth, wasted time, and lost revenue. As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he brings a systems-minded approach to accounting support for professional service firms that need more than basic data entry. His background combines business strategy, process improvement, and financial operations, helping clients build cleaner workflows and stronger decision-making habits. Jason holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master, credentials that reinforce his structured, results-focused approach to client service.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader with deep experience in organizational infrastructure, process design, data-informed decision-making, and growth strategy. Her background includes leading non-profit organizations and helping businesses build the internal systems needed to operate more effectively. For professional service firms, that perspective supports stronger accounting workflows, clearer reporting habits, and better alignment between financial data and business goals. Dr. Ali earned a BA from Tufts University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY. She brings a thoughtful, people-centered leadership style that helps clients strengthen both the numbers behind the business and the processes that drive performance.
Senior Controller/Bookkeeper
Chris Gibson has more than 15 years of experience helping clients improve bookkeeping processes, understand QuickBooks more effectively, and gain practical control over their financial operations. He is known for translating accounting tasks into clear, usable systems that support day-to-day business management. For professional service firms, Chris helps turn bookkeeping into a more useful management tool by improving workflows, reporting clarity, and software usage. Clients value his teaching style and his ability to uncover high-value improvements they may not have considered on their own. Chris earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University, and he brings both analytical discipline and a strong eye for functionality to every client engagement.
