Jason M. Hill has spent more than 20 years helping small and midsized businesses identify the root causes behind stalled growth, wasted time, and lost revenue. As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he brings a strategic lens to accounting support, combining business analysis with practical systems thinking. Jason holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Management. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master. Clients value his ability to turn messy financial and operational challenges into clear, workable solutions that support stronger decision-making, cleaner books, and more efficient business processes.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader with deep experience in organizational growth, infrastructure, and process design. Over the past two decades, she has led non-profit organizations and helped businesses strengthen operations through better systems, smarter use of data, and scalable internal processes. Her academic background includes a BA from Tufts University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, she brings a thoughtful, people-centered perspective to business operations and financial support. Clients benefit from her ability to connect structure, communication, and long-term planning in ways that help organizations grow with greater clarity and resilience.
Senior Controller/Bookkeeper
Chris Gibson has more than 15 years of experience helping clients improve bookkeeping processes, understand QuickBooks more effectively, and build stronger day-to-day financial workflows. Known for his empowering teaching style, Chris helps business owners gain confidence in their books rather than simply handing over reports they do not understand. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and brings a sharp eye for functionality, workflow improvement, and practical problem-solving. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he supports clients with high-value solutions that often uncover efficiencies they had not previously considered. His work helps businesses maintain cleaner records, improve reporting habits, and get more value from their accounting systems.
