Jason M. Hill has spent more than 20 years helping small and midsized businesses identify the operational and financial issues holding them back. As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he brings a problem-solving mindset shaped by consulting, management accounting, and process improvement. Jason is known for helping business owners understand where money, time, and energy are being lost and how better systems can restore control. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master, bringing structured thinking and practical execution to bookkeeping engagements.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader and managing partner with deep experience in organizational infrastructure, process design, and data-informed decision-making. Over the past two decades, she has led non-profit organizations and helped businesses build stronger systems that support sustainable growth. Her background brings a valuable strategic lens to bookkeeping, especially for companies that need more than transaction tracking. Dr. Ali is recognized for connecting financial processes to broader business outcomes, helping clients create structure that supports operations, fundraising, and long-term planning. She earned her BA from Tufts University, an MPA from Columbia University, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY.

Chris Gibson has more than 15 years of experience helping clients improve bookkeeping workflows, understand QuickBooks more effectively, and build stronger day-to-day financial habits. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he is known for presenting practical, high-value solutions that clients may not have considered on their own. Chris combines technical bookkeeping knowledge with an empowering teaching style, helping business owners and teams get more from their systems and processes. His approach supports both cleaner books and greater confidence in using financial information to run the business. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and brings a sharp eye for functionality, workflow improvement, and client education to every engagement.
