As founder of Sound Advice, he brings a consulting mindset to outsourced finance, helping clients build stronger systems, cleaner processes, and more useful financial visibility. His background combines business strategy with practical problem-solving, making him especially valuable for companies that need more than basic bookkeeping. Jason holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master, credentials that reinforce the structured, process-driven approach clients rely on.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader with deep experience in organizational infrastructure, process design, data-informed decision-making, and growth strategy. Her background spans more than two decades of leading non-profit organizations and helping teams build systems that support measurable outcomes. Within an outsourced finance environment, she brings a strong operational lens that helps clients connect bookkeeping and reporting to broader business goals. Dr. Ali is known for combining analytical rigor with people-centered leadership, making complex business challenges easier to navigate. She earned her BA from Tufts University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY. Her perspective strengthens Sound Advice's ability to support growing organizations thoughtfully.

Chris Gibson has helped Sound Advice Bookkeeping clients for more than 15 years by turning bookkeeping systems into practical tools for better business management. He is especially valued for helping clients understand QuickBooks, improve workflows, and uncover solutions they may not have considered on their own. His approach is hands-on and empowering, giving business owners the confidence to use their financial systems more effectively. Chris combines technical bookkeeping knowledge with a strong eye for functionality, making him a key resource for businesses that want cleaner processes and clearer reporting. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University, and clients know him for translating accounting tasks into organized, usable systems that support day-to-day operations and long-term growth.
