Jason M. Hill brings more than 20 years of experience helping small and midsized organizations identify the root causes behind financial and operational inefficiencies. As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he focuses on building practical systems that reduce wasted time, money, and effort while improving visibility into performance. His background combines business strategy, process improvement, and management insight, making him a valuable resource for educational institutions that need dependable financial structure. Jason holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master, bringing disciplined, process-driven thinking to every client engagement.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader with deep experience in nonprofit leadership, infrastructure development, and process design. Over the past two decades, she has helped organizations strengthen operations, use data more effectively, and build systems that support sustainable growth. Her background is especially valuable for educational institutions and mission-driven organizations that need thoughtful financial processes aligned with broader organizational goals. Dr. Ali combines strategic insight with a strong understanding of people, structure, and outcomes. She earned her BA from Tufts University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University with a concentration in Non-Profit Business Management, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
Senior Controller/Bookkeeper
Chris Gibson has spent more than 15 years helping clients improve bookkeeping processes, understand QuickBooks more effectively, and gain practical control over their financial operations. Known for his empowering teaching style, he helps organizations move beyond confusion and into clearer, more functional workflows. For educational institutions, that means better day-to-day bookkeeping habits, stronger reporting practices, and systems staff can actually use with confidence. Chris is especially skilled at identifying high-value improvements clients may not have considered on their own. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and brings a detail-oriented, solutions-focused perspective to every engagement, helping clients strengthen both bookkeeping accuracy and overall business functionality.
