Jason M. Hill has spent more than 20 years helping small and midsized businesses identify the root causes behind lost time, money, and momentum. As founder of Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he brings a strategic perspective that goes beyond basic recordkeeping to improve systems, processes, and financial clarity. Jason holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Management. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master. Clients value his practical, problem-solving approach and his ability to turn messy financial workflows into organized, repeatable systems that support better decisions and sustainable growth.

Dr. Ali Hill is a business leader and sociologist with deep experience building strong organizational infrastructure. Over the past two decades, she has led nonprofit organizations and helped businesses improve processes, use data more effectively, and align operations with measurable outcomes. Her background includes a BA from Tufts University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, and a PhD in Sociology from The Graduate Center at CUNY. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, she brings a thoughtful, systems-oriented perspective that helps clients create more resilient back-office operations. Her expertise supports businesses that need more than transaction tracking and want bookkeeping processes that contribute to long-term stability and smarter decision-making.
Senior Controller/Bookkeeper
Chris Gibson has more than 15 years of experience helping clients improve bookkeeping processes and get more value from their financial systems. Known for his empowering teaching style, he helps business owners understand QuickBooks, workflows, and reporting in ways that feel practical and approachable. Chris earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and brings a sharp eye for improving functionality across day-to-day operations. At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, he supports clients with high-value solutions that often uncover efficiencies they had not considered before. His work helps businesses move from reactive bookkeeping to more organized, confident financial management with systems that are easier to maintain month after month.
